Refund & Returns

At Shroom Haven, we stand by the quality of our mycological supplies. Because we deal with live cultures and sensitive organic materials, our refund policy is designed to be fair while ensuring the biosafety of our inventory.

The Successful Flush Guarantee

We are the only UK supplier to guarantee your kits. If your Growkit does not produce a flush despite following our official Shroom Haven guides, we will replace the kit or provide store credit. (Photos of your setup required for assessment).

1. Return Eligibility

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for a refund or exchange, subject to the following conditions:

  • Unopened Products: Dried Mushrooms, Edibles, and Truffles must be in their original, vacuum-sealed, tamper-evident packaging.
  • Spores & Cultures: Spore syringes and prints must remain in their original sterile packaging with the security seal intact. We cannot accept returns on opened spores due to contamination risks.
  • Growkits: Must be unactivated. Once a kit has been misted, soaked, or exposed to the environment, it is considered “used”.

Non-Returnable Items

Some items are exempt from being returned:

  • Perishable items (Fresh Truffles)
  • Digital Cultivation Guides
  • Opened sterile equipment

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or contaminated, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the packaging and product.

2. The Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 working days.

3. Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to our discrete returns facility (details provided via email). You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Note: We recommend using a tracked shipping service. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged during transit. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at returns@shroomhaven.co.uk.

5. International Orders

As we primarily serve the UK market, international returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please note that customs seizures are outside of our control and are not eligible for refunds.
